PUBLIC NOTICE

On July 7, 2022, Mayor Luke Leszyk tendered his resignation effective immediately. 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to § 104 of the Public Officers Law, that a special 
meeting of the Village Board will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at the Village’s 
offices located at 303 N. Franklin St., Watkins Glen, New York 14891. The purpose of this meeting 
will be to appoint a new mayor pursuant to § 3-312 of the Village Law. 
Until such special meeting is held, Deputy Mayor Louie Perazzini will serve as the Village’s 
Acting Mayor pursuant to Village Law § 3-312.
